The Patscherkofel, the “home mountain of the people of Innsbruck” is situated 1,400 metres above the city, where you will find the right conditions for skiing, snowboarding and all kinds of winter sports. The varied terrain offers family-friendly runs and challenges for ambitious athletes.

The ski area has nine lifts, including two valley stations – the traditional Patscherkofel aerial tramway in Igls and the 4-seater chairlift Olympiaexpress on the Römerstraße. The 18 km of perfectly groomed slopes entice you with the best conditions on sunny and varied terrain. Snow is guaranteed thanks to the ultra-modern snow-making facilities. Special highlights are the 6 km long downhill run from the mountain station of the Panorama lift to the Römerstraße, as well as the World Cup slope as a section of the Olympic downhill run. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments from the summit to the valley – from the rustic hut to the modern snack bar.

The Patscherkofel offers a breathtaking panorama over Innsbruck with views from the Wipptal valley over the Stubaital and Inntal valleys and to the Nordkette mountain range opposite.
