Hike from Hungerburg to the Arzler Alm

ArzlerAlm3

Forest trail: From Hungerburg, follow the Rosnerweg in a north-easterly direction until you reach the first fork in the trail. Here turn left and follow the signs to “Arzleralm Weg” until you reach the alpine pasture. Ideal route also with prams. About 30 minutes longer than the direct route. With a pram, it is best to start on the left at the police station above the Nordkettenbahn. From here, a narrow road leads along the mountain bike downhill track for a few metres to the Rosnerweg.

Additional round on the Arzler Alm Panorama Circular Trail: If the ascent to the Arzler Alm was too short, this circular trail is an ideal extension!
The Arzler Alm panoramic circular trail is 4.7km long, walking time approx. 1 hour with wonderful views of the mountain landscapes of the Inn Valley, parts of the Wipp and Stubaital, as well as the sights of the Olympic city of Innsbruck.
It leads from the Arzler Alm in the direction of the Rumer Alm and at the turn-off to the Rumer Alm turn left in a westerly direction to the Höttinger Almweg. From here downhill again to the Arzler Alm.

Way back: Either ascent or a little further in the direction of Höttinger Alm. Then turn left, then immediately left again and somewhat steeper back to the starting point of the Nordkettenbahn.
