Butzihuette

Berchtoldshofweg 14

Delicious feasting above Innsbruck – The Buzihütte is a cosy inn with excellent local cuisine. The Buzihütte is a real insider tip, especially among locals. In addition to a cosy parlour, the inn also has a beautiful outdoor area. From a culinary point of view, the Buzihütte is dedicated to traditional Austrian cuisine. For example, there are various schnitzel variations, dumplings and delicious desserts such as Kaiserschmarrn and pancake variations. In addition, there are changing daily specials and seasonal focuses (such as the classic Törggelen in autumn or barbecue evenings in summer). A culinary highlight is the so-called “Eiterbeule”, which has made the Buzihütte famous in the Innsbruck area. This is a stuffed schnitzel. The recipe is still closely guarded today.

To this day, efforts are made to ensure that the incomparable character of the “hut” is preserved and so there is still the original wooden parlour, just as there was when the hut first opened.
The son Wolf Sporer ran the inn until 1998 and is still the “good spirit” of the hut.
Since 1998, Karoline Pilz has continued to run the family business.

Directions and opening hours can be found on the Butzihütte homepage.
